Congratulations Angela Soilleux on another Fitness show under your belt. Hamilton, Ont OPA Bikini Fitness Contest Way to go Tena Berdan, You rocked another show out of the park! Congratulations on making it to Nationals. After a long day, Tena Berdan walked away from her first show with a 1st place trophy in Masters Division. Tena worked hard for the last 8 months dedicated with her time and committed to the process. Congratulations we'll see you at regionals next year! So proud of Ashley and her first OPA Fitness Bikini Competition. After training hard for five months she pulled it all together and went out smoking for her first walk on the stage in the prejudging this morning. Couldn't have asked for a better client and representation of what I love to do: Sculpt Bodies! It was a brisk sunny morning for the Run for a Cure. Great turnout and success to the committee that puts this run together every year. As for our team, we prepared by meeting once a week for a group run. Trained through the summer, even with, as we started to call it Thunderstorm Tuesday. It seems that if it were to rain it was on that day. We persevered and remained committed to our goals. Most of the team are new to running that have made leaps and bounds in progress. You all should be very proud. A perfect snack to keep your insulin levels steady, keep hunger at bay and fuel your body. Protein bars and bites have become a trend for their convenience and simplicity if you choose to make your own.
Today I'm sharing a no bake version, but it does require a quick stove top cook to blend the peanut butter, coconut oil, and honey. No Bake Protein Bars Add dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk together.
Over medium heat, add peanut butter, oil, and honey to a medium sauce pan. Stir until melted and blended. Remove from heat.
Pour over dry ingredients and stir blending together. Pour mixture into 8 inch glass baking dish and spread out evenly pat down gently, smooth with back of a spoon. Place in fridge for 1 hour, then cut into 24 squares. Approximate Calorie Breakdown 166 per bar, 10 g fat, (2g sat fat), 116mg sodium, 24g carbs (4g fibre), 8g protein There's still time to sign up for this great run.
