Consistently proven to be at the top of her game coaching and guiding both individual and small group training programs here in London, Ont., Chrystal Nicholas joined the YMCA team in 2006 where she earned her reputation for high performance results in her boot camps. In her quest for knowledge, Nicholas is currently pursuing her Masters Training Certification while owning and operating her company, "Fit2Go." Essentially her goal is this, to offer her clientele more specialized functional training programs through continuous learning and maintaining her knowledge in only the latest scientific trends & studies. Nicholas creates programs based on proven science. She incorporates biomechanics and functionality lead the exercise regime to transfer well to everyday life. Creating a program for the everyday person is needed, "we're not all elite athletes" she stated "and we need to be healthy and free from injuries to optimally live our everyday lives."
Nicholas has a competitive drive that has resulted in 5k &1ok races, 1/2 marathons and this June her first obstacle course event 'The Spartan Sprint". Keeping active has been the compelling force behind her enthusiasm when starting her Event Training for small groups and teams. Fit2Go offers clients connection to a team of like-minded people training together for the same event whether it be a competition, race or obstacle course. Nicholas has found over the years that the "key" for clients commitment and success is a connection with those in a small group with a similar goal. While not everyone aspires to compete, she also serves those whose goals are to most importantly to "get healthy" and adapt a healthy "lifestyle". This has served to be the most rewarding benefits of the job, Nicholas states "The amazing feeling of helping someone change their life & health for the better. To reverse degenerative disease thru better choices and a plan to get there is why I love my job."
